AND

During shower, i told Hong Zheng that i love daddy and Hong Zheng. Hong Zheng loves?? He continued daddy and mummy. I asked him again:"Daddy loves?" He said Hong Zheng and mummy. Hong Zheng started to understand the word "and".

Cannot!

All this while when i asked Hong Zheng if he can push An An little brother, he will answer me:"Yes". Last few day, he started to answer me:"Cannot!". He seem to be progressing pretty well in his understanding of words! Great!

A sleepless night for me and Hong Zheng

Hong Zheng fall into sleep around 10pm and wake up with cough around 1am in the mid night. I started to observe he had short of breath syndrome which i believe it could be due to his flu causing nose blockage. Strangely it lasted for the whole night until 8am. I can saw some abnormal behaviour as compare to his previous cough. About 8am while i was on my way seeking for specialist, i got a big shock to him turning from red to blue. I was so panic. I also realize i left out my identity card at his dad. I was really panic! I called my sister for advice and then i called his dad to take half day leave. We immediately brought him to specialist. Doctor adviced that he had slight wheezely cough in which mucus is trapped at the lung causing short of breath. He wants us to take close monitor as this could led to asthma. Hong Zheng was out of energy when reaching home. He is still lying fast asleep when i compose this blog. My pity boy.

I don't want mama

Yesterday night at 9:00pm as usual i put Hong Zheng onto his bed. After one hour of story telling i asked him to close his eye and sleep. He did not seem to ready for bed time as he just took an half hour nap around 7pm. He asked to go down stair with his dad. I did not agree with him and as a result, he pull me up from bed and told me:"I dont want mama"!

Bad Cough

Hong ZHeng had a very bad cough after he drunk two cans of cool vitagen at a single night during new year visits. He cough non stop over the night. So, early in the morning i told him not to drink cold 100plus, cold soya bean and etc.. He asked me:"Ribena?"

Rain rain go away

Hong Zheng starts to sing song, although not all the words are put together but you know which song he is singing. He sings rain rain go away, hot cross bun, twinkle little star and some mandarin songs. Any song that i sing to him on bed he seem to know and remember them. That is sweet!

Helping me during CNY

Hong Zheng always very volunteer in helping me to clean up the house. Today, he helped me in cleaning the coffee table. He actually very serious in helping me to carry up the job. I am so proud of him.

How naughty you are!

I always tell Hong Zheng that he is very naughty. He messed up all things that he can find in the house. Today, when his dad and me were having our dinner at the kitchen, the hall was his. His dad told me what happened after he went to the hall. I told him i knew it as i had been observing what he was doing when i was having my dinner. "If i stopped him, we would't have a smooth dinner for ourselves", i told his dad. As for a prove, here it is.

My heart is so painful

I always steal sometime to do blogging when Hong Zheng is taking his nap in the noon. Today, after he was fall asleep, i came to PC again. An hour later he wake up. I quickly go to him so that he can sleep another one more hour. Not knowing why, he suddenly get up from his bed and accident happened! He knocked on my knee when i was about to knee down and he tumbled to his back and knocked on his head. "Pop" was the sound i heard. I was so sad and so hurt to see this happened! My heart is so painful.

Butterfly!

Hong Zheng always like to remove his car wheels from the car. Today, when he was having fun with his removed wheels, he said a word "butterfly". I took a look and it was true, it was a butterfly. Do you agree?

Jump!

Since these few days, Hong Zheng started to learn jumping. When he came to the last staircase from up stair, he will get ready and jump. Off course i would ensure he hold my hand before jump.

Help me! Help me!

When i need help, i will talk to Hong Zheng "help me"! So, as for now, when he wants to help me on something, he will say "Help me!". Actually he means let me help you. He seem like not able to tell what is "me, you" yet.

Today when his dad is busy setting his bed, again he came and said "help me". Off course he was trying to help and he usually end up jumping up down on the bed :-(

Crane carries car!

I use to do some drawing with Hong Zheng during his lunch and dinner time. I found it quite useful to keep him stay still in a place while feeding him.

He use to ask me to draw car, crane, truck, fire engine, ball, cup and etc.

Today, to my very surprise, he asked me to draw a crane which carries a car. "Crane carries car". This is what he told me.

Celebrating Daddy's birthday

I was busy baking cookies these days and as the result i forgotten to bake a cheesecake for Hong Zheng's dad during his birthday. Oh hubby, you know my heart is always at my son. I can remember 1001 things about our son but not 10 my own stuff. I hope you can forgive me. So, i decided to buy a slice of cheesecake from secret recipes. I told Hong Zheng about my plan on the thursday morning before going off to his cousin's house. At night, i was actually thinking to give up purchasing the cake as i need to take another route back home from his cousin's house after the whole tiring day. Hong Zheng reminded me again so i must keep my words since i always ask him to keep his words. Finding a car park at Jusco car park at 8:30pm is never easy. I make a few rounds waiting for a nice car pack and finally i gave up since i plan to leave the car park before having to go to the ticket machine. I stop my car right infront secret recipe and get a help from a waitress and finally i got the cake. I bought the chocolate banana cream cake as this is the one that his dad always order when come to secret recipe. On the way home, Hong Zheng fall into sleep! Ops, i ask him if he wants to celebrate his dad's birthday and he insisted.

It was 9pm when we reached home. I quickly ask Hong Zheng to bring his desk to the center of the hall and he really did it! This surprise me!

So, the camera with timer 10second is on! First photo is a nice shot. When come to the second shot, Hong Zheng suddenly leave his place and we ask him to come back fast. At the 9th second, he run back to his place and gave a nice knock at the desk and the cake fall! The expression of all of us were managed to capture by the camera! His dad looked so disapointed! Hong Zheng was looking guity. Me was so "excited" as i knew this shot will be a fantastic one!

Harvesting ginger

Never in my life, i know how to plant a ginger. Today, Hong Zheng and me was harvesting our ginger at backyard. I was the one who is so excited as compared to Hong Zheng. I guess i found the answer what is old and green ginger. I hope i got it right!

Baking cookies for CNY 2010

Since this is my first year celebrating cninese new year as a SAHM, i decided to try my hand at baking cookies although i am not so fond of cookies each year during new year.
Amazingly discover my son can roll doughs into balls! His motor skills get sharpen! So proud of him.

After a tiring day,it is yummy time! He seem to quite wonder about the taste of my cookies :-)

Drawing circles

Lately Hong Zheng starts drawing circles and straight lines. Off course not the very perfect circle and not the very straight line. It is very interesting to see my little boy starts to hold pen and able to draw what he wants to draw. I am glad to see he progress so far.
