Fever at 40.3C!

Hong Zheng went to his grandparents house as usually. Unfortunately his two cousins was sick, fever and mouth aucer. My sisters was trying ways to cure and calm down his youngest boy as he refused to eat and drink milk for two days. She gave her 100 plus in milky bottle which we believe can ease his pain at throat and mouth. Hong Zheng was so curious about this drink and he drunk it without my knowledge. Once i found out, i started to worry.

Two days after everything seem to be very normal but from third day onwards i started to feel his body granually turn heater. That was already on Friday. On saturday evening i started to give him some still in fridge Paracetamol. At 10pm, his fever shot up to 40.3C! Oh, i gave him another dose and put him wet towel. At 11pm, his fever dwon to 38C. Pius....i can take a rest. At 5pm, oh no, his fever still back to 40C!. Another round of wet towel and dose. Sunday morning, i brought him to general purpose clinic and the doctor subrice us a botol of Paracetamol, antibiotic and a rectal injection. However, his fever had dropped to normal range in the evening. Finally he recovered! Lesson learn, always stock a botol of Paracetamol and some rectal injections for emergency.
