Artificial or Clone Guava?

My neighbor gave me this so called "Guava". She bought it from Cameron Highland. At first i thought it is just a new guava species but after took it from the plastic bag, i was very very surprise with this fruit or food!

It is a real fruit or a artificial fruit? Can it be eaten? Do you dare to try? I do not.
