Hong Zheng's grandparents stay in Raub, Pahang. It takes us around 4 hours to travel to Raub. We only visit them twice a year as sometimes they will come to visit us in Melaka. Needless to say, Hong Zheng does not close with his grandparents.
This year, we went back to celebrate his grandpa's 69th year old birthday. It was also my first time celebrating my father-in-law's birthday. I see the bonding starts to get closer after having Hong Zheng. That was great!
Besides that, it was a fruitful trip as i got the chance to try the top class durian from Pahang. I bought some back to family in Melaka and they said "thumbs up".
